Building an agile organization is a journey. Fannie Mae started its journey several years ago, but today is well on its way. Through this journey, changes in the way we define our requirements, develop and deploy products, govern and budget for technology initiatives, procure services and align its human capital have been forced to evolve and adopt to support an agile/lean organization.
Today, over 60% of all projects are delivered using agile approaches. Through this effort we have experienced much better business/IT alignment, increased release throughput three times, improved code quality, productivity and overall employee satisfaction. Most importantly, our customer satisfaction scores have improved.
This presentation will talk to the Fannie Mae journey and discuss real-world challenges and opportunities that have enable our success to date.
