Director, ESOL Services, Fairfax County Public Schools
Rich Pollio has been an educator for 25 years and is the Director of ESOL Services for Fairfax County Public Schools. In this position, his team directs the curriculum, professional development and instructional program for the 35,000 English Learners in the Fairfax County school system. Rich is a former elementary principal and began his career as a classroom teacher in California. He is a graduate of Stanford University and has a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University.
